A special treat for my readers: The theme from Jess Franco's Faceless!

I don't usually do stuff like this, but the soundtrack for "Faceless", a single with the theme-song, has been OOP for many years now. I got this directly from France and though it's not my favorite song from this fantastic Jess Franco-movie, it's worth listening to.

The artist is Vincent Thoma (aka Vincenzo Thoma) and the composer is Romano Musumarra and "C. Welsman" (according to IMDB). There's the main theme with Vincent on song, and a more ambient instrumental version of it.

Today is a special day for me, two years since I met my boyfriend and photographic genius Gregory (you can see our photos here) and I thought this was good way to celebrate it :)

Thanks to Anneli who helped me rip the vinyl and thanks to Kit Gavin who found it for me (and guided me through that french site!). Kram to you both!

You can "listen" to it here, and if you think this is great, go get yourself your own copy of this rare single!

Thanks so much! I have ordered the Carol Welsman 'Just Imagination' LP which has two more tracks from Faceless 'Just Imagination' (Disco scene where Mitchum roughs up a pimp) & 'Mais Que Bonita' (Caroline Munro's photo shoot, and also the Vincent Thoma 7" single featuring both 'Crystal Eyes' (Disco scene with Florence Guerin) & 'In The Heart of the City'.
Let me know if you want to sell that 12" single to me (seriously interested)!

Question - what is the name of that instrumental track included (also from Faceless), composer and album/single details too please?!

The instrumental track is also composed by Romano Musumarra, the title is Les Predateurs De La Nuit.

I think I have a complete soundtrack from the movie now, after some help from friends. Five tracks in total.

@Fred - I have the Faceless 12" Maxi single (label and cover #611540) with the actual record side A 5m 32s singing version (extended more than the download here) and side B 3m 55s instrumental (of the 'pop' song version, not the instumental monotone/finger clicks of the download). The Maxi single cover does state different durations Face A Faceless 4m, Face B Les Predateurs De La Nuit 3m 15s. On the download the theme is 4m 05s, the intrumental is 4m 11s. All very confusing - are there two different singles?

Just to follow up, the Carol Welsman LP has the Faceless tracks Just Imagination 4m 20s (shorter version than the 12" single) and Mais Que Bonita 4m 40s.

Ahh - the download is from a 7" single catalogue #111540, hence the different tracks selection. And despite the Maxi cover info being incorrect for tracklisting, these are at least two more different versions of the Faceless theme available! Does anyone want to sell their 7" or send me a raw WAV?

Your local Amazon (and other music stores) 25 July onwards carries a 4 track Bande Originale for Faceless: http://www.amazon.com/Pr%C3%A9dateurs-feat-Vincent-Thoma-originale/dp/B008IMZ72I

Featuring the Main Theme in three versions (7" edit, 12" edit, Instrumental) and the 7" B-side track I was after Les Prédateurs De La Nuit.

Well I finally got the 7" of Les Predateurs De La Nuit. The purchase at Vinyl Sounds Great. The mp3 on Amazon was not good enough (I wish you had sent me a EWAV file of that B side...).
My new special treat will be a Hi Res Audio soundtrack in FLAC 192/24 to replace Faceless Soundtrack Redux
