This Robin Hood-movie from 1970 is something I would like to see. Directed by the great Giorgio Ferroni too!

Some comedy with Lino Ventura. Looks quite boring.

X-rental: King of Kong Island

Never seen King of Kong Island, and I even have it on DVD! It's both ugly... but still kinda fun in a Swedish retro-tape way.

X-rental: Overrun!

Another Italian war-movie from my collection of Swedish x-renals, this time directed by Mario Siciliano. Ivan Rassimov and Kirk Morris in the leads. Not the best cover. Something tells me this movie is filled with stockfootage.

X-rental: Missile X - Geheimauftrag Neutronenbombe (1978)

I love this cover just because it's painted by the great, great Hans Arnold. A swiss artist living in Sweden. The movie seem to be some spy-romp with Peter Graves (as the hero I presume) and Curt Jürgens as the bad guy (I presume...). 

X-rental: Rats (1976)

This title gave me some headache for a while, but after a lot of research I found that it's a Yugoslavian movie called Izbavitelj. It's a about a secret society of rat-people! (yes, just like the famous Monty Python-sketch). Anyway, it seems like something I would like to see and is one of the biggest reasons I want to find a good beta-player.

X-rental: The New Gladiators (1984)

Without a doubt one of the most underrated films in Fulcis career. Sure, it's a bit silly, but The New Gladiators is a stylish, violent and fun sci-fi movie. The swedish release is great and uncut, but I wished there could come a good dvd-release.

X-rental: Parasite (1982)

I've always had a soft spot for Demi Moores debut, Parasite, another flick in the 3D-craze of the eighties. Sorry to say I don't own it on dvd, but only on this vhs. Mac Ahlberg did the cinematography as usual, and he was probably the man responsible for the graffiti "Jävla Arsle" in the background. Gonna try to get a screenshot sometime.

X-rental: Venom (1971)

Probably the ugliest cover so far! This is Peter Sykes Venom, another movie I haven't seen, but still own on betamax. Anyone seen it and can give a comment?

X-rental: 3xFrance

I have a lot of french movies on betamax, here's there of them: Un Condé (which seems VERY good), When the City Awakes and Le Secret. I've seen to little french crime I think...

X-rental: Suicide Commandos (1968)

Another italian war-movie, Commando Suicida, directed by Camillo Bazzoni and starring Aldo Ray. Very nice swedish cover.

X-rental: Lightblast (1985)

Lightblast is a fantastic piece of cinema. It's lightweight compared to many of Castellaris other movies, but like the underrated Hammerhead, this is one entertaining piece of exploitation. Ton's of slow-mo and Erik Estrada!

X-rental: The best double feature ever?

This is the pride of my collection of x-rentals: Nightmare City AND Alien 2: On Earth! It's probably not worth a buck, but the important thing is  just that they have put these two masterpieces on one cassette! It's amazing! NC is the normal cut version, but Alien 2 is a nice gory, graphic version!

X-rental: Hell in Normandy (1968)

Another fast one from maestro Alfonso Brescia. And they always look more spectacular on the cover than they actually are.

X-rental: Guyana - Crime of the Century (1979)

The masterpiece of René Cardona Jr! I think this movie is fantastic. Both pure exploitation and also a quite realistic version of what happen in Jonestown. The dvd is cut, and I don't what the status is on this swedish release.

X-rental: The Golden Lady (1979)

A try to make a femal version of James Bond, but on a budget of one million pounds. The Golden Lady seems like a lot of entertainment to me, so one day I will watch it and... review it here of course :)

X-rental: Five into Hell (1969)

Another italian war-movie, 5 per l'inferno, with a good cast. But if the movie is good, I have no idea.

X-rental: A Dragonfly for Each Corpse (1974)

Yepp, that's Paul Naschy dead (I guess) on the front! It's the "spanish giallo" A Dragonfly for Each Corpse with a very misleading cover and text on the back (something about killer-dragonflies...). I guess I have to get a beta-player to watch this, because I've always wanted to see it!

X-rental: Doctor Justice (1975)

This looks fun! John Phillip Law plays comic book hero Dr. Benjamin Justice! Gert Fröbe is the bad guy and martial arts master Roger Paschy is starring to.  And Paul Naschy seems to have  part to in it! I need a betamax-player now!

X-rental: Death Moon (1978)

Death Moon is an american TV-movie about a werewolf on Hawaii! Robert Foxworth and Joe Penny runs around, hopefully, in tacky seventies fashion and fights a guy in a monster suit. But what do I know, haven't seen it.
