News has reached me that
Paul Naschy has left us. 75 years young, always radical, funny, witty and smart.
I can't find words really, because he was one of the true icons of european horror, and there will never be someone like him again. He was a lover of horror and the macabre himself, a fantastic actor, an auteur of the art of film making.
There will be no more Waldemar Daninsky, no more Alaric de Marnac. His characters will of course live on in the old movies, in our memories. But a world without Naschy is a lesser world.
Howl at the moon tonite, in the memory of Jacinto "Paul Naschy" Molina.
He will be missed.
