It was revenge night, and this movie was followed by Joe Don Baker's FRAMED. Carradine was there, btw. I think Quentin invited him to sell Kill Bill to him by letting him see that modern audiences react well to both the heroes and villains in revenge films. It was one of the greatest movie-going experiences of my life by far. If you want to hear QT do the introduction for ROLLING THUNDER I have it up over here http://smallerdemon.com/Alamo/QT5Audio/83BDE1D2-B7EE-4CF2-8FE6-98E91029951B.html (it requires Quicktime, though). FRAMED sounds like it's more the speed of THE HUMAN FACTOR, and you can hear QT talk about it here: http://smallerdemon.com/Alamo/QT5Audio/F1287695-2B56-4576-B33B-95FC45A3001A.htmlsmallerdemonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07382713315326747414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-819372552985537908.post-69555044885011714712011-10-05T23:21:19.921+02:002011-10-05T23:21:19.921+02:00Hmm... well, I can see it now when you mention it,...Hmm... well, I can see it now when you mention it, but they are very different in style and execution. Rolling Thunder is a masterpiece, The Human Factor is "just" very good. If you can handle the slow start it's a rewarding movie.Ninja Dixonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13211571098475743546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-819372552985537908.post-67698909443964952312011-10-05T23:19:19.757+02:002011-10-05T23:19:19.757+02:00Your description makes me thing it is similar to R...Your description makes me thing it is similar to ROLLING THUNDER.smallerdemonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07382713315326747414noreply@blogger.com
